Research activities

The scientific activity of OATs includes several research themes, addressed both from the theoretical and observational point of view, as well as through a vigorous program of technological research and development.

Our main activities are: design, construction, operational control and scientific performance of satellite missions, including the analysis and interpretation of data and related theoretical research.

Moreover, OATs is a qualified partner in national and international projects for the development of instrumentation for ground based and space telescopes, and has also achieved international recognition in the management  of scientific space missions and ground based observational facilities.
