Released the new series maps in the microwave domain of the ESA Planck satellite

The new, and last, series maps in the microwave domain of the ESA Planck satellite are those that will constitute the legacy of the mission along the path to the knowledge of the universe in which we live. In particular it is a fundamental legacy for astrophysicists and cosmologists who have reliable and unprecedented data to work with. A special thanks to the Planck Collaboration, that has just been awarded the Gruber prize, for having completed the project and in particular to the many Observatory colleagues who have dedicated a significant part of their research life to it. For those who want to know more see the ESA announcement (more info).
